On 28–29 April 2025, the Central European Institute of Asian Studies (CEIAS) and the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA) co-hosted the CEEasia Forum 2025 conference in Bratislava, Slovakia. The two-day policy-oriented conference explored the theme “Back to the future: Reinventing Europe-Asia cooperation in a shifting global order”.

This report presents the key takeaways from the panel discussions as understood by the conference co-organizers.

The CEEasia Forum is the flagship event of the Central European Institute of Asian Studies (CEIAS), organized in cooperation with the Slovak Foreign Policy Association (SFPA). This premier gathering focuses on the role of Central and Eastern Europe (CEE) in Europe-Asia relations.

The CEEasia Forum 2025 welcomed distinguished speakers from across Europe, the Indo-Pacific, and beyond, including government officials, diplomats, think tank experts, academics, activists, and exile representatives. Their diverse perspectives fostered meaningful discussions on the future of Europe-Asia cooperation in a rapidly changing world.
