In the IAS Policy Paper, Lucia Husenicová analyses the spring 2013 crisis on the Korean Peninsula. The author claims, that North Korea follows a certain model of behavior whence the aims of the provocative actions is to gain concession or to acquire a better position in the negotiations to come.
