EU Chips Ecosystem Tracker

CEIAS is launching the EU Chips Ecosystem Tracker, the first publicly available tool mapping industry actors across the semiconductor value chain, as well as key European initiatives supporting the sector.

Developed as part of the CHIPDIPLO project, the Tracker is designed to highlight Europe’s industrial and innovation strengths in semiconductors, enhance collective intelligence among EU Member States, and support the European Union’s international partnerships.

The interactive map provides:

  • An overview of more than 2,500 companies across the 27 EU Member States, mapped at facility level, with the option to filter by supply chain segment, ownership, and other criteria, including data on revenue and workforce size.
  • A mapping of key pan-European initiatives, including IPCEIs, pilot lines, competence centres, and the EU Chips Design Platform.

Based on open-access data, the Tracker is designed as a living tool and will be regularly updated to reflect developments on the ground.
