Research Fellow
Dominika Remžová is a CEIAS Research Fellow and an ESRC-funded 1+3 PhD student in Politics and International Relations at the University of Nottingham. Her focus is on IPE and security-related topics with regard to East Asia, particularly China, and Taiwan. She holds a BA (Hons) degree in Chinese Studies from the University of Manchester and an MA degree in Taiwan Studies from SOAS, University of London. She has also studied at the National Taiwan University and is a member of the European Association of Taiwan Studies (EATS). Besides CEIAS, she has worked for the University of Nottingham’s Rights Lab, the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS), the Global Taiwan Institute (GTI), and the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS). Research interests: Foreign and security policies of China and Taiwan (with a particular interest in cross-strait, EU-China and EU-Taiwan relations), economic statecraft, regionalism, and party systems/politics of Northeast Asia
