James Iocovozzi

Research Fellow | Editor

James Iocovozzi is a CEIAS Research Fellow and editor. He is a Ph.D. student at Palacký University's Department of Asian Studies and has worked with the Sinophon Borderlands project since the beginning of 2022. James received his Master's from Charles University's International Security Studies program, where he focused on human security and structural violence. He now specializes in soft power and state agency in Southeast Asia and statistical analyses for sinophon's survey data. Research interests: soft power, state agency, Southeast Asian security, strategic autonomy, human security
